FUFA has announced a provisional squad for the 2023 U18 CECAFA Championship.
The tournament will take place in Kenya on Saturday 25th November 25 and close max on Saturday 9th December 2023.
One standout inclusion in the squad is Travis Mutyaba, a midfielder who has already made significant steps.Â
Mutyaba, featured for the Uganda Cranes and was a part of the U20 team that reached the AFCON finals in 2021 and is set to be one who will bring valuable experience to the U18 team.
Another notable name in the roster is Luzinda Derek, who boasts international exposure having played for Queens Park Rangers and Reading in England.
The man in charge of guiding this team is Morley Byekwaso, who previously coached the U20 team that reached the AFCON finals in 2021.
