StarTimes UPL: Ssenkatuka hat-trick continues to sink Arua Hill

Nelson Senkatuka netted a hat-trick to down Arua Hill to keep them in the drop zone at the at Kavumba Reacreation Ground on Thursday evening.

The the efficient Ssenkatuka who reached his 50 goal mark a few days ago made it seven goals out of nine games, going on to continue putting a smile on the fans.

By three minutes, the forward had already opened the scoring through a low shot in the area after a beautiful defence splitting pass by Yassin Mugume.

Seventeen minutes, it went from bad to worse for the Visitors as Yusuf Makhutum received a straight red card for a high boot challenge on Shafik Kakande.

A few minutes later, Kakande wasn’t able to continue as he limped off after that challenge, going on to be replaced by Sam Senyonjo.

Into added time, Ssenkatuka converted from Fiat Cleophas assist within three minutes, placing it beyond Richard Anyama only for Ibrahim Musa revive the hope before halftime with a well crafted goal.

Eight minutes after restart, Senkatuka scored his third of the evening with a one-touch finish after a well worked move by Sam Ssenyonjo.

A few minutes, Ssenyonjo missed an open goal opportunity from Kazanyiro’s through ball, sending his effort inches wide at the far post.

After getting their second win of the campaign, Bright Stars move to 10th on the log with ten points while Arua Hill remain bottom with Four points.

In their next games, Bright Stars will face SC Villa on Wednesday 6th December as for Arua Hill, they are set to host Wakiso Giants.
