Substitute George Ssenkaaba netted in the third minute of second half stoppage time to help Express secure a 2-1 victory over Police FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
Ssenkaaba had replaced Charles Musige in the 77th minute of the game.
Express took the lead through Dues Bukenya’s freekick but Police equalised just after the hour mark with a well taken Juma Balinya’s effort.
Just before the death of the game, Ssenkaaba run on to a Mahad Yaya Kakooza’s header to slot it past Abdul Kimera and into the back of the net.
Express have now secured their second victory of the season and now move to seven points from five games.
While Police FC have now lost all their first five games of the season and currently sit bottom of the log.
Express will host SC Villa next while Police will travel to Onduparaka FC.
