It will be Derby day in the Star Times Uganda Premier League on Friday as the Jogoos will host the Red Eagles at Wankulukuku in what is labeled as the famous Kampala Derby.
After warning both teams fans against hooliganism, all the work will be left for the teams on the pitch as 4th will face 5th for only one to come out on top at the end of the day.
With both teams changed in terms of players, the Derby will come with new heat as all players will go all out for it.
SC Villa come into the game 4th, a position ahead of the Red Eagles in the League, hoping to win their second game this season.
Having conceded no goal yet this season, SC Villa will be conscious of their poor record against the Red Eagles in the past two seasons having lost twice and drawn twice in all league encounters.
On the other side, Express FC will be looking to make it back to back victories in order to keep their title winning hopes high.
Ahead of the game Express midfielder Andrew Kaggwa promises hard work saying;
I have played this derby game before and it is not going to be different from the former ones. We have been waiting to play such a game as the team we are going to work hard and give our best to win this game.
The Red Eagles who are 5th on the Log have managed only one win in two games collecting four points out of the available six(6) just like their opponents of the day.
Last result
SC Villa drew away against Onduparaka in Bombo while Express FC managed impressive win at home against a strong URA FC.
What will a win do?
A win for SC Villa will push them to the top of the table just like Express if they win.
