Sadat Anaku netted the lone goal of the game as Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club( KCCA FC) overcame Onduparaka FC 1-0 at the AbaBet Greenlight stadium, Arua on Sunday evening.

Anaku’s goal came with just 10 minutes to the death of the game as the Kasasiro Boys failed to break down a resilient Caterpillars side for most of the game

There was nothing much to report in the first half save for a Kabon Livin attempt from the inside the penalty area which was parried onto the post by Charles Lukwago.

Midway the first half, Onduparaka was forced into an early change as Shaban Wasswa who limped off with a hamstring injury was replaced by Moses Okot.

With nine minutes after the break, Kabon wasted a brilliant chance to put his side ahead but the forward blazed his effort just above the crossbar.

Sadat Anaku almost stole the show with what would have been his seventh goal of the season. A fine effort from almost 30 yards out which drew a spectacular save from goalkeeper Kagiri.

However, Anaku couldn’t be denied moments later after Steven Sserwada brilliantly tied him to strike it with venom past Kagiri and into the back of the net with 10 minutes left on the clock.

This result see KCCA reclaim their fourth position with 37 points, level on points with Police FC but have superior goal difference over the Cops and will play Bright Stars next.

Onduparaka drop a place down to 11th with 24 points, only five point below the relegation line and will play Express next.
