Youngster Sadat Anaku netted the lone goal to inspire KCCA FC past Busoga United in a Uganda Premier League game played at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru on Wednesday.

Anaku easily tapped in from close range in the second half after a wonderful cross by right back Innocent Wafula.

KCCA FC dominated proceedings from the first minute of the game but it was the hosts, Busoga United who had the best attempt of the opening half but Ntege Anwar failed to beat Benjamin Ochan just before the break.

Nine minutes into the closing half, Anaku headed onto the crossbar after a neat Yasser Mugerwa’s cross in the 67th minute.

Anaku had also hit the crossbar earlier on in the game off a Brian Majwega’s cross

Anaku’s strike proved the game’s winner and now KCCA move top of the log with 9 points in three games so far. They have won all their games this season.

For Busoga United, they have their first game of the season, having beaten Gaddafi in opening game last week.
