StarTimes UPL: Ogwang nets winner as Arua Hill hand Express third successive loss

Isaac Ogwang netted the lone goal for Arua Hill SC as they inflicted a consecutive loss to Express FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Ogwang’s goal came in the first quarter of the game after Express defender Isa Lumu lost the ball to innocent Maduka. Maduka then headed the ball into Ogwang’s path for the forward to finish off.

Express had several chances to level matters before the end of the game but Ivan Mayanja, Joseph Dhata and Anwar Mustafa Ntege failed to find the target.

Arua Hill had a chance to double their advantage late on in the game but Jacob Kamwesigye failed to beat goalkeeper Denis Otim after being set through.

Express have now lost three games in a row, having also lost to Bright Stars and Wakiso Giants. They slip to seventh place with 14 points.

Arua Hill meanwhile rise to fifth place with 16 points.

Express play KCCA next while Arua Hill host BUL in Arua.
