Mbarara City and SC Villa played out a barren draw at the Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara on Saturday evening.

In a game where all things were not going right for SC Villa, Mbarara City defender Bakali Magumba received a 71st minute straight red card after hitting Hakim Kiwanuka’s head in a poor play effort.

With both sides having their share of chances, SC Villa’s falling to Kakande early on in the opening half and Mbarara’s to Kitegenyi.

However all didn’t yield anything ending the game in a goalless draw.

This was Mbarara City’s fifth draw of the campaign in eight games taking them to 11th on the log with eight points.

For SC Villa this was their third draw of the season and holds them in 10th position with nine points with a game in hand.

In their next fixtures, Mbarara City will visit Maroons at Luzira on Thursday 30th November while SC Villa will host Busoga United at the Muteesa II stadium in Wankulukuku on Sunday 3rd December.
