KCCA FC will host SC Vipers in what is the biggest match in the land in the 2022/23 Startimes Uganda Premier League campaign at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Saturday evening.
Despite having lost their previous game of the campaign to Arua Hill SC, the Kasisiro Boys will hope to get back to winning ways in-form of revenge to their last game when the Venoms beat the home side 1-2.

A key member in the KCCA side in Moses Waiswa will be looking forward to playing against his former employers, an opportunity he will take with two arms.

For Head Coach Morley Byekwaso, he urged his team to focus on the present in the Pre-match Press Conference on Friday;
We are as prepared as usual, every player knows the magnitude and weight of the game.
We are playing a team that has qualified for the champions league group stage hence we need to be more serious and effective to see that we achieve a positive result. Yesterday is yesterday and we need to focus on the present. We need to pull up our socks, play well and win the game.
On the other side, Vipers, fresh from eliminating five time African champions TP Mazembe to reach the CAF champions league group stages will come in with lots of confidence despite drawing their last three games.

The Venoms will hope to lean on their experienced players like Sentamu, Karissa and new signing like Marvin Youngman who has always tormented the Lugogo side with his former side Bright Stars.
Talking to Vipers Media, the Venoms head coach, Oliveira described KCCA gaffer exceptional ahead of the game;
We don’t expect one easy game. We just have to be ready for work and for the hardest work,” Oliveira told .
The quality they have and their coach is exceptional. It’s always a tough game. Our players know we have an incredible challenge tomorrow.
Three of the players who scored half of the goals in this fixture last season moved on to new clubs, like Bobosi Byaruhanga, Sadat Anaku and Cesar Manzoki something that gives the line-ups a new look.
With the new signings made by both sides, this promises to an entertaining game of football.
