Startimes UPL: KCCA hope to collect first win on the road

0

A few days after collecting a convincing win against a struggling Black’s Power, KCCA will visit Bombo Military grounds to play UPDF on a Wednesday evening.

The Kasasiro Boys travel with two defeats on the back their heads in their last two away games something that indicates that they have done great on the road.

Their last two away games have been between Arua Hill where they lost 3-1 and Maroons which edged the Lugogo side 1-0.

KCCA come into this game with their heads held high after winning their last League game 4-1 and will hope to disprove their away talk with couple of players on form like Allan Okello, Rogers Kassim Mato among others.

Ahead of the game, KCCA headcoach Morley confirms that his side prepared well and are ready to collect their first away win of the season ;

We have a good record against UPDF but it is not about the history. What matters is how we shall perform against UPDF tomorrow.

They are home and will want to get back to winning ways. But we are very set to face them, we want to get our first win on the road and we have prepared well to get that.

On the other side UPDF have blown hot and cold this season, winning once, drawing and losing twice.

The performance was solely put on the absentees in the team and injuries.

The army side are yet to win a game against KCCA FC in the last six games they have faced each other with the Kasasiro boys winning 3-0 away from home and will look to change this.

Last game

UPDF lost their last game away 3-0 to Arua Hill while KCCA won their last game 4-1 to Black Power at home.

What will a win do?

A win will take UPDF up on the log to 9th with 8 points in place of URA just behind the Maroons FC, level on points but with less goal difference.

For KCCA a win will take them to third, a point behind SC Villa in second.
