Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club ( KCCA FC) are now winless in three StarTimes Uganda Premier League games.
This is after they failed to beat UPDF FC in a game played under floodlights at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The Kasasiro Boys succumbed to pressure late on in the game for the game to end 1-all
Tshisungu Kankonde gave KCCA the lead early on in the second half before his goal was cancelled out by Douglas Oyirwoth late on.
KCCA dominated the proceeding in the opening half but failed to create any meaningful goalscoring chance upfront.
However it was UPDF who came close to breaking the deadlock through Frank Yiga and Ivan Ahimbisibwe chance.
Coming on for Julius Poloto after the break, Kankonde needed only 11 minutes to find the breakthrough for KCCA as he headed in a well driven Mohammad Shaban’s delivery.
After that goal, KCCA had a couple of chances to double their lead but failed to find the target.
At almost the death of the game, the Kasasiro Boys were made to pay for their earlier misses by Oyirwoth, who superbly volleyed the ball into the back of net, past a helpless Derrick Ochan after his initial cross was blocked .
With two points dropped, KCCA (38 points) are now five points below leaders SC Villa, who have played two games more.
For UPDF, they move to 12th position in the log with 22 points.
