0

It will be a battle of top place in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Tuesday as the top three sides on the log will all be in action.

In Njeru, Top placed KCCA will be welcomed by third-placed BUL FC while second on the log Vipers SC will travel to Wakulukuku to battle Express FC.

With 11 games played, only two points separate the three sides as KCCA sits top of the log with 25 points while Vipers and BUL follow with 23 points each.

KCCA head into the game against BUL beaming with confidence as they are on four match winning run and are unbeaten in last seven games in the league.

In their last game, they comfortably defeated Express FC 3-0 in the Kampala derby played at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

BUL FC meanwhile, have been brilliant at home as they have won all their five games in Njeru this season.

In their last League game, they defeated Arua Hill 1-0 in Barifa courtesy of Ibra Nsimbe’s goal.

KCCA hold the advantage in the last 19 games with BUL FC as they have won 9 games, lost four times and drew the other six games.

BUL could leapfrog the Kasasiro Boys if they can secure a victory over their opponents while KCCA would extend their lead to five points over BUL if they secure victory.

Probable lineups

BUL FC: Saidi Keni (GK), Douglas Muganga, Walter Ochora, Aggrey Madoi, George Kasonko, Jerome Kirya, Vicent Ziwa, Ibrahim Nsimbe, Richard Wandyaka, Martin Aprem, Hillary Onek.

Express FC Vs Vipers SC

Vipers will travel to Muteesa II Stadium, Wakulukuku seeking to collect maximum points against a dilapidated Express FC.

The Venoms head into this game after having returned to winning ways on Friday evening as they thumped Onduparaka FC 4-0 at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

They face an Express side who are desperate for a win, having lost all their last four games. They sit 10th on the log with 14 points in 11 games this season.

The Venoms haven’t been convincing on the road this season though as all their losses (2) have come away from home. This includes their 1-0 loss to Gaddafi FC in their last away game.

Inorder for Vipers SC to go top after Tuesday, they will need to beat Red Eagles in Wakulukuku and hope for a positive result from the BUL-KCCA game.

Meanwhile, a victory for Express FC against Vipers would take them at least a place up the log to ninth on 17 points.

Vipers have won 11 of the last 25 meetings between the two sides including a 3-0 victory early this year at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Probable lineups:
