Startimes UPL: Gaddafi, Arua Hill to lock horns in Jinja


Despite losing two games on the bounce, Arua Hill look to get back to winning ways as they make a trip to Jinja to face Gaddafi Modern Football Club in the Startimes Uganda Premier League at the Gaddafi Arena on Wednesday.

The West Nile giants will look to recover from their loss against SC Villa with motivation that they are just seven points off the top spot having accumulated a total of 11 points after winning thrice, losing thrice and drawing once.

The Kongolo will hope to collect their fourth win of the campaign as they continue to rely on the strong team they got with players like Rashid Kawawa and also put faith in Gadafi Wahab who holds shere quality in the middle of the park.

For the hosts Gaddafi, they also lost their previous game away to Wakiso Giants and will hope to get their guns blazing once again with home advantage.

The Soilder boys won their last home game 3-0 against Bright Stars courtsey of a Alex Kitata hat-trick which made it two wins of their seven(7) games.

Both teams lost their last games. Arua Hill lost at home 0-1 to SC Villa courtesy of a Charles Bbaale  penalty while Gaddafi Modern was beaten away in Wakiso 2-0 against the Purple Sharks.

What would a win do?

A win will take Arua Hill to 5th position on the log in place of KCCA FC. For Gaddafi it will lift them up to 6th on 12 points in place of Bright Stars who thumped Express.
