Heading into Matchday eleven, only Vipers and Express remain the only two sides that haven’t tasted defeat thus far this season .
While newcomers MYDA and Kitara have endured a torrid start to their life in Uganda’s top-flight league, losing 9 of their opening ten games.

Here’s is our rundown of the action that awaits us in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Tuesday.
Busoga United Vs KCCA
Winless Busoga starts the game week at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru where they host Mike Mutebi’s Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club, KCCA FC.
Busoga is one of the three teams that haven’t tasted any victory this season, alongside MYDA and Kitara while KCCA FC hasn’t had a start they wished for, having already lost three games in their opening ten.
Busoga United sits third from bottom with 5 points while KCCA is on 17, 7 below leaders Vipers SC.
Last result
Busoga United narrowly lost 1-0 to URA FC at the Arena of Visions Stadium, Ndejje, their fifth loss of the season after a series of draws in four gameweeks.
On the other end, KCCA thumped Kitara FC 4-0 at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo to return to winning after drawing 1-1 with Wakiso giants in their last league encounter before that.
Head-to-Head
This will be the eighth top flight meeting between the two sides, with KCCA FC winning five, while the remaining two have ended in stalemates.
Mustafa Kizza’s freekick at the almost the halftime break was the only difference as KCCA FC defeated Busoga United 1-0 last season .
What this could mean
The hosts, Busoga United are seeking for their first win of the season which could see them move just two points below Mbarara City who sit just above the relegation line with 10 points, while KCCA would like to garner only their second away victory so as to close the gap between them and the title favourites Vipers. KCCA FC last won a game away from home on the opening day when they beat Bright Stars 2-1 at the Kavumba Recreation Center, Wakiso.

Kyetume Vs SC Villa – live on Sanyuka TV
After the KCCA FC match at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru, Kyetume will host wounded SC Villa in a game to be broadcast live on Sanyuka TV. Kyetume head into this game with uncertainties over who will head the team on the Touchline as unconfirmed reports say Livingstone Mbabazi was sacked and Alex Isabirye was immediately appointed the head coach.
It is also alleged that after the firing of Mbabazi, many players’ licenses were held by the former Onduparaka and Wakiso Giants coach over monies reported to be amounting to 48m.
These two clubs are separated by only four places as the Slaughterers sit eleventh on the log with 11 points while SC Villa is seventh with 15 points on the log.
Last result:
Kyetume FC travelled to Mbarara where they suffered a 3-1 loss to Mbarara City FC at the Kakyeka Stadium, their fifth consecutive game without a victor, while SC Villa was pipped 1-0 by their landlords UPDF in Bombo courtesy of a Katende Ezekiel second-half goal for the Army side.
Head-to-Head
This will be the second meeting between the two sides. Kyetume won the first meeting 1-0 at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole at the start of last season courtesy of Cephas Kambugu’s strike.
What this could mean.
Kyetume is winless in their last five games and victory against the Jogoos could take them two places up to 9th, just a point below their opponents.
For SC Villa, they look to return to winning ways having failed to win any of their last two games. A win over the Slaughterers would take them to 18 points, just six below Vipers who are top.

Kyetume: Joel Mutakubwa
SC Villa: Emmanuel Wasswa, Francis Olaki, Mohammedi Nsereko, Nasser Lukwago, Moses Kiggundu, Abdallah Ssekandi and Benson Muhindo.
Wakiso Giants Vs MYDA

Head-to-Head
This will be the first meeting between the two sides in top-flight football as MYDA was promoted at the beginning of this season.
What this could mean
Wakiso who are seeking for only their second win of the season could move a place up on the log if they can beat MYDA with a 9-0 scoreline, replacing Bright Stars, while even if MYDA win their first game, they would remain among the bottom-placed side, currently 9 points below the relegation line.

Head-to-Head
The two sides will be meeting for the first time in the league. Both sides have met in the domestic cup twice with the hosts winning on both occasions.
What this could mean
Kitara is still seeking for their first league, but even if they win against the Red Eagles, they will stay in the relegation zone as they are currently nine points off the relegation line.
If Express FC secure a win over Kitara, they would go top of the log with 25 points, surpassing current leaders Vipers SC by a point.
