Startimes UPL: URA visit BUL with hope of collecting maximum points

0

BUL FC are set to host URA in the Startimes Uganda Premier League at FUFA technical center on Saturday – 4pm.

The Eastern giants will be boasted with the performance they put against the Tax Collectors in the first leg however much it ended in a one- all draw after a late George Ssenkaaba strike.

Of late Isabirye’s men have have had a dip in form (drawing their last two games with both UPDF and Blacks Power), something that has stretched the point gap between them and the table leader to six(6) points.

With 29 points from 16 matches, they will have to be conscious in their next games not to drop any more points in order to maintain their chase at the top end of the table.

On the side of the tax collectors, they have started the second round in style, winning two of their second round games against Onduparaka (0-2) and Express(1-0).

With a few reshuffles in the club’s squad like bringing in Joseph Ssemujju, Bruno Buyanga and Nicholas Kabonge for Shafic Kagimu, Derrick Nsibambi and George Ssenkabba have brought new energy and made a huge difference to the current crop of players and helped in yielding results.

They will hope to ride on the same form in order to get to the top half of the table as soon as possible since they are just eight points away from the top four.

URA sit 10th on the log with 20 points in 16 games played this season.

What will a win do?

A win for Bul will reduce the point gap between them and leaders to 3 points and maintain their second position while for URA it will take them up to 6th, level on points with Bright stars but with better goal difference.
