10-man BUL FC secured a 1-all stalemate with Gaddafi FC in the first Jinja derby of the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League league.

Ibrahim Kazindula gave BUL the lead early on in the opening half before Bakali Maguuda put the scores level for Gadaffi in the second half.

BUL had to finish the game with 10-men after Walter Ochora was sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Kazindula goal came from the spotkick after Shafik Bakaki had handled the ball in the area for the wingback to set up and find the back of the net.

While Bakali pounced in from close range after having won the ball away from BUL’s goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa.

With the point, BUL move to 11 points in 5 games and remain atop of the Uganda Premier League log.

For Gaddafi, they remain winless in four games, having garnered three draws and a defeat.

Gaddafi play Busoga United next while BUL hosts Onduparaka FC in their next games.
