BUL FC secured a spot in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 16 after a 3-1 comeback victory over Bugoigo Leopards on Monday.

The Uganda Premier League side had to dig deep after falling behind early but ultimately proved too strong for their lower division opponents.
Bugoigo Leopards took a surprise lead in the first half through Fred Oscar, holding a 1-0 advantage at the break.
However, BUL responded emphatically in the second half with goals from defender Bakali Magumba, Karim Ndugwa, and new signing Viane Ssekajugo to complete the turnaround.
The win extends BUL’s strong run of form, following back-to-back league victories over Express and Mbale Heroes.
It was also a personal milestone for Ssekajugo, who netted his first goal for the club since joining in the January transfer window.
With the league title seemingly out of reach, BUL will now set their sights on Uganda Cup glory, a competition they previously won in 2022 after defeating Vipers SC 3-1 in the final.
They join fellow UPL sides SC Villa, Vipers, Police FC, and Kitara in the last 16 as they continue their quest for silverware.
