A mouth watering Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 draw was carried out at the FUFA house in Mengo Monday.

With eight ties staged all the games are scheduled to take place between March 1st and 7th.

The anticipated fixture of the draw will be between the nine (9)time champions SC Villa and Kitara FC who have recently met in the League with the Hoima side collecting four points will face off in UPL affair.

This time round it will be a knockout game that will attract more numbers to the Masindi grounds with an expectation of a better display from both sides.

Other standout fixtures will see joint-record holders Express FC face the Eastern giants and 2021/22 winners BUL FC at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Fellow joint record holders KCCA FC will also gather shere strength to match up a challenging URA FC who have won the title three times.

Despite all the ties, looking so hard, defending Champions Vipers host regional side Iganga Young at the Carpet in Kitende.

The Kavumba affair will also pose anxiety as Bright Stars play the 2022/23 finalists Police FC, the only FUFA Big League team standing in the competition.

The remaining ties will see Dove FC will host to Packwach Young Stars as Pajule Lions and Young Simba move toe to toe for a spot in the Quaterfinals.

Last year’s’ Uganda Cup competition was won by Vipers after beating Police.
