Vipers SC head coach Fred Kajoba is expecting a very hard game when his charges host Busoga United at the St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Monday in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 first-leg tie.

This year’s tournament will be a knockout tournament, played on a home and away basis, starting from the round of 32 through to the last 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals.

“This game will not be that easy, we beat them last December but a lot has changed in their team,” Kajoba told Vipers Website before adding;

“They are good going forward and can be dangerous sometimes. So, we have to come hungrier and tougher than we did last time.”

Both sides come into this game, having won their last competitive games in the league. Vipers travelled to Bombo Military playgrounds and came back with a 3-0 victory over UPDF while Busoga United, who were at home outclassed Onduparaka 2-0 at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

The Venoms beat Busoga United 5-3 when they met earlier in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League first-round game at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru

Fred Kajoba almost has a fully fit squad to choose from after Yunus Sentamu Milton Karisa, Bobosi Byaruhanga and Denis Kiggundu are all available and are in contention to feature

Isma Mugulusi, Shaka Ssozi, Franco Balabala and Anthony Mayanja will be the star players to watch out from the Busoga United team.

The successful winner of this fixture over the two legs (on aggregate) will qualify to the round of 16 stage.
