Uganda’s national netball team, The She Cranes will hosted by England Netball in October 2022, as part of the Vitality Netball International Series.
This was made official on Friday afternoon by England Netball in an article published on their website.
Uganda, who are ranked seventh in the world will play Vitality Roses in three test matches. The first one will be held at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Areana on Wednesday 5th October while the other two remaining games will be played at Copper Box Arena on 8th and 9th October.
“We are delighted to be welcoming the Uganda She Cranes to England in the Autumn in what promises to be a brilliant series of netball. Uganda are always a highly competitive side and we can’t wait to host them on home soil in front of fans.” England Netball CEO Fran Connolly said before adding;
“This series will be a great test for our Vitality Roses programme as we embark on the new international season with an eye on the future and press on with our preparations for the World Cup next summer in South Africa.”
She Cranes are currently preparing for the Commonwealth games in Birmingham that are scheduled for 28th July to 8th August.
Uganda is pooled in group B with hosts, England, Malawi, Trinidad and Tobago and New Zealand.
