Villa fan banned, Kasasiro’s cautioned


The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel (CDP) has today instituted a ban against staunch SC Villa fan James Lutaaya.

Lutaaya will miss all the remaining SC Villa games both at home and away.

Lutaaya was found guilty of leading a group of Villa fans who beat up Michael Birungi, a URA FC player when URA hosted SC Villa at the Arena of visions Stadium, Ndejje University  on the 7th of January 2020.

The CDP in considering the case took into account the steps and actions that have been implemented by SC Villa. Accordingly, the Competitions Disciplinary Panel hereby confirms the ban issued on Lutaaya James by SC Villa – He is banned from attending all SC Villa (home and away) matches for the remainder of the season.

KCCA FC fans warned about misconduct

The Competitions Disciplinary Panel (CDP) has also addressed a letter to KCCA FC on allegations of fans chaos as it was written in the referees report which happened in the Startimes Uganda Premier league match where URA FC defeated KCCA FC 2-1  at the Arena of visions Stadium on the 31st January 2020.

KCCA FC fans started a chaos in attempt to enter the stadium and beat up Coach Sam Ssimbwa who provoked them as he celebrated in front of them at the end of the game. Their attempt failed after being contained by the police at the stadium.

The CDP in considering the case took into account, KCCA FC’s previous record and the situation leading to the incident,  the CDP hereby warns KCCA FC against future incidents and is encouraged to prevail over its fans”

The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel gives a ruling a day after UPL club Wakiso Giants suspended their fan Natukunda Sheebah through the fans committee to a one match ban after being found guilty of misconduct.
