Saddam Juma: midfielder finally completes move to SC Villa

Former Vipers, Express and KCCA midfielder Saddam Juma has finally completed his move to record Uganda Premier League winners SC Villa.

Juma, who has been without a club since ending his marriage with KCCA in 2020 joins the Jogoos on a short-term contract.

He has been training with the club since last year at Uganda Martyrs Rubaga.

The talented midfielder finds the Petros Koukouras coached side involved in a relegation fight as they have only 17 points in 16 games, only three points above the 14th placed Busoga United.

The 28-year old will add the much needed experience in the current youthful Villa squad due to his exploits with both the national team and several different big clubs he has featured for.

At KCCA FC, Saddam Ibrahim Juma was known to many as a big game player and he never disappointed in the big games.

In his CAF Champions League debut for KCCA FC, He was on target versus Moroccan FUS Rabat in the game that ended 3-1 in favor of the Ugandan side.

He also netted in the CAF Champions league as the Kasasiro Boys defeated Al Ahly 2-0 in 2018 at the Mandela National stadium, Namboole.
