Kizito has been captain of Uganda at the U17 and U20 and has captained both those sides at the respective AFCON finals.

Kizito is likely to be assisted by custodian Meddie Kibirige and long serving defender Joseph  Nsubuga.

It’s still uncertain if the Jogoos will feature in this season’s StarTimes UPL after they were ommited from the latest fixture released by the Secretariat on Tuesday ahead of the new season set to begin on Friday.
