Reports: COVID-19 further disrupts Vipers’ CAF champions league preparations

Emerging reports from Vipers SC camp reveal that six senior players have tested positive for COVID-19.

The venoms had their Covid tests carried out today and from the swabs, 6 of them returned positive results and will have to go into quarantine for at least 14 days.

The Venoms are preparing for the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF champions league against Al Hilal Omdurman due this Sunday, 6th December 2020 in Sudan.

Vipers lost the first leg 1-0 at the St. Mary’s stadium and will need at least a win of two goals to progress to the next preliminary stage.
