Rashid Okocha: Former Onduparaka defender finally joins new UPL entrants

Experienced forward Rashid Okocha has finally joined new Uganda Premier League side National Enterprise Corporation alias NEC FC after spending six years in Arua with Onduparaka FC.

The versatile and aggressive defender labeled the Land Lord by the Caterpillar fans comes with immense experience to help Hussein Mbalangu’s side achieve their season goals of competing for the title.

Okocha who has currently been playing with the West Nile province in the FUFA Drum will hope to help the club as he has done in the different friendly matches.

He adds to the new lot at the like in Ronald Kaye, Allan Mugalu, Joseph Dhata, Samson Kirya among others.

In a debut season, NEC will kickstart their Startimes Uganda Premier League on Friday 15th September away to Mbarara City Football Club at Kakyeka Stadium- Mbarara as it was approved a few days ago.
