Preview: Bbosa out to haunt former employers as Express host Tooro United


Wasswa Bbosa’s Express FC will host Tooro United at Kavumba recreational play grounds in the Startimes Uganda Premier League on Wednesday evening.

Express will look forward to complete a domestic double over Tooro United having won the first leg 2-1 away in Fortportal as Wasswa Bbosa wants to haunt his former paymasters who failed to clear his dues prompting him to throw in a towel last year

Express will welcome back Cyrus Kibande and Hamdan Nsubuga from injury as Frank Kalanda will require a late fitness test after injuring his shoulder in the Uganda cup tie against Maroons FC. Joshua Sentambule remains the long term absentee.

Express will miss the services of defending midfielder Lawrence Kigonya who was shown a red card in their last encounter against Onduparaka.

New signings Eddy Kapampa and Nicolas Kagaba are expected to make their debut in the league for Tooro United.

Express FC who lie in the 12th position on 24 points have managed to pick three wins in their last five meetings against Tooro United with two wins. Its rare to see this tie end up into a draw.

Tooro United are in the relegation zone with 19 points sitting in the 15th position five points below Express.
