Preview: Arua Hill welcome Maroons to Adjumani

Arua Hill will today, Wednesday 20th December host Maroons in the match day 12 of the Star Times Uganda premier league.

The game will kick off at 4pm at the Paridi stadium in Adjumani district as the hosts hunt for their second win of the season.

Arua Hills is unbeaten in the last three home games at the Paridi stadium having got a 2-0 win against UPDF and draws against KCCA and Wakiso Giants.

As part of the preparation, the visitors arrived in Adjuman on Monday night and held trainings at Unna primary school.

“The temperatures are high but we come here abit early to cope up with the situation, the team is training well and we are giving them the right tactics and we call upon all our fans to support us”, Simon Peter Ojok, assistant coach Maroons fc said in the prematch interview

Prior to the game, Maroons FC Captain David Ndihabwe says he and the team ready;

“We expect a tough challenge from the host because of home advantage but we are ready for the challenge.”

Maroons comes into this match with a good away record so far in the season having defeated KCCA, Wakiso Giants, Kitara, Express in their last three away fixture.

In the previous season, Arua Hills won Marroons 3-1 in October last year at the Barifa Stadium while they were defeated 2-0 in the second leg at the Prisons ground in Luzira.

Maroons secured a 1-1 draw against the defending Champions, Vipers SC in the previous game while Arua Hills lost 4-1 to URA in Lugazi

With collective efforts from all around the team, Arua Hill will have to put for the hitman of the môment Fred Amaku without losing focus on Ndihabwe and Abraham Tusubira despite the absence of Solomon Walusimbi

The Kongoloos sit at the bottom of the table with only 5 points while Maroons in the sixth position with 19 points
