Pepsi University Football League: 11th edition launched

The 2023 University Football League has been officially launched at Kati Kati Restaurant, Lugogo  with an addition of two Universities.

Kasanga based side Kampala International University are making a return in the 2023 edition just like ISBAT University are just going to make their appearance for the first time. This season will have 24 Universities spread out to 6 groups.

It will be played in a normal format will each group will have the top two teams qualifying to the knockout round and joined by the best two third placed teams.

The tournament is slated to start on 7th March 2023 and will be put to an end in November.

The teams outside the central part were be seeded in particular pots only to be placed in given groups because of different logical reasons as revealed by the competition organizers.

Those different Universities are Muni University (Arua), Gulu University (Gulu), Kabale University, Islamic University (Mbale), Kumi University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology (Must)
