On Wednesday 22nd February 2023, the 21st edition of Corporate League edition was launched at Hotel Africana, Kampala.
With an intention of spreading out wings to different regions of the Uganda, this year’s edition is designed to be very colorful and attractive to it’s members as revealed by Managing Director, Mr. Dennis Mbidde.
There are also going to be new changes and developments made with addition of other sports to the menu like basketball because they found out that many Corporate people want to play it.
This year’s edition will officially begin on Sunday 26th February 2023 at Kyadondo grounds, according to Mbidde.
The tournament will consist of 85 Corporate companies some of which include; Jubilee Insurance, Century Bottling company, CIC Insurance, Post Bank, Tropical Bank, Bank of Africa.
This 2023 launch also comes with ideas that will be executed instantly like;
- The Source of the Nile Uganda Corporate Marathon that will be run on 22nd April 2023.
- The Corporate League CEO Breakfast Awards and Fundraiser, to be held on Friday 7th, July 2023 at Sheraton hotel
- The Nile Corporate League Excellency Dinner Awards Ceremony, expected on 1st December 2023 at Hotel Africana.
The Managers monthly outting and this is expected to be held every first Friday of the month.
