Orombi shoots to the helm of Maroons Captaincy

• 1st – Ronald Orombi
• 2nd – Edward Kabona
• 3rd – Dennis Rukundo
• 4th – Simon Tamale

Midfielder Ronald Orombi was named on top of  the new Maroons FC captaincy ranks for the upcoming season after the departure of David Ndihabwe.

Ndihabwe recently who recently joined Kitara was one of the pillars of the side last season something that Orombi would like to replicate.

Defender Edward Kabona, right back Dennis Rukundo and goalkeeper Simon Tamale have been named as Orombi’s immediate assistants respectively.

Maroons have made some signings this summer that include former Vipers midfielder, former SC Villa midfielder Ambrose Kirya, Bashir Mutanda, Ivan Mayanja, Ivan Asaba, Apollo Kagogwe Hassan Matovu, Muwadda Mawejje, Rogers Kiwanuka, Ibrahim Juma Dada, Brian Omirambe and Jamal Ssemwogere.

Maroons will face UPDF FC in their opener on Sunday 15th September at the Luzira Prisons Grounds.
