Only six countries will featured in this year’s CECAFA U20 Women’s Championship in Uganda.

This was confirmed in the fixture released by CECAFA on Wednesday 20th October, 2021.

The hosts Uganda, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Tanzania, Eritrea and Burundi are the six natiobs set to participate in the Championship scheduled for 28th October to 10th November at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Unlike the  previous editions, all the nations will play against each other once in a round-robin format to decide the winner.

Uganda will start their campaign with Burundi and wrap up their round-robin fixtures against  Ethiopia on 9th November.
