Oforyiwoth wins it for Heathens


Heathens Rugby Club edged Kobs Rugby Club in a close contest of Matchday three (3) of the Nile Special Uganda Rugby League.

A slim 17-15 win for the Yellow Boys it was away to their neighbors on Saturday at the Legends grounds, Lugogo.

This was the Kyadondo boys second win of the season after winning their first – home away from home against Toyota Buffaloes 50-09 to boast thier season after loosing the opening game to Stanbic Black Pirates.

Aaron Oforyiwoth was the star man of the game after he made a late three points kick to hand Heathens Rugby club a 17-15 points win over rivals Kobs. Heathens came from 6 points down by halftime to win the game with two points.

For Impis, they yet again relied on Henry Nsekuye’s reliable kicking abilities to not only keep the scoreboard ticking but also to control where the action against in the Entebbe Plascon Mongers’ yard .

In the game at the Graveyard in Makerere, both Rams and Rhino’s failed to make a try as they settled for a three all draw through a conversion on each side.
