This year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup will be aired on Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) starting from the round of 32 ties.
The development was confirmed on Sunday evening by the Federation of Uganda Football Association, the football governing body in Uganda.
Six out of the 32 fixtures will be live on UBC starting with SC Villa first leg tie with Ndejje University at the Bombo Military playgrounds on Monday evening.
Other games to be aired include; Proline’s tie with MYDA on Tuesday, KCCA FC vs Nyamityobora on Wednesday, BUL vs Black Power on Thursday, Busoga second leg tie with Vipers at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru and Mbale Heroes game with Gadaffi next Sunday.

This year’s Uganda Cup will be a knockout tournament, played on a home and away basis starting from the round of 32 through to the last 16, quarterfinals and semifinals.
The first leg of the round of 32 ties will start on 5th April (Easter Monday) to Wednesday 7th April. Then the second leg will be played between Thursday 8th April up to Sunday 11th April.
Kansai Plascon joined Stanbic Bank as the sponsors of the tournament in a two-year sponsorship deal worth Sh132m.
The winner of the competition represents Uganda at the CAF Confederation Cup, the second most prestigious tournament in African club football.
Proline are the defending champions having won the 2018/19 championship when they beat Bright Stars FC in shootouts in a final held at Masaka Recreation ground.
KCCA and Express are joint record winners with 10 titles while SC Villa has nine to their name.
