Mukono Development won by 8 wickets

In a thrilling encounter at the Florida Oval, Fahad Mutagana delivered a scintillating all-round performance to guide Mukono Development to an emphatic 8-wicket victory over Premier Cricket Club.

Premier won the toss and opted to bat, getting off to a solid start with an opening stand of 45 between Devansh Patel and Yasir Malik.

However, once Devansh fell, the innings unraveled.

Yasir fought a lone battle with a resilient 82 off 74 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup crumbled under pressure.

Mukono’s disciplined bowling attack, led by Mutagana and new signing Kassim Adam—both taking 3 wickets—restricted Premier to 174 in 38.5 overs.

Mukono’s chase was spearheaded by their captain and player-coach, Mutagana, who launched a brutal assault on Premier’s bowlers.

He smashed a stunning 115* off just 90 deliveries, including 12 fours and 3 sixes, guiding his side to 177/2 in only 26.3 overs.

The victory lifts Mukono Development to third in the standings with 5 points from four matches, while Premier remain winless at the bottom.
