The 26-year old was on Friday afternoon announced as Express new signing, putting pen to paper on a one-year employment contract after months of uncertainties surrounding his future after parting ways with Wydad Casablanca.
“Firstly I want to appreciate the CEO (Isaac Mwesigwa) and the head coach (Wasswa Bbosa) for making this happen, am happy to be here,” Murshid Juuko told Express FC website before adding,
“Express is a big club and it’s current progress speaks for itself and am sure we going to win silverware this season”
Juuko was most notable while playing for Tanzanian giants Simba SC where he spent five years (2014-2019) winning two league titles, the Tanzania FA Cup and Mapinduzi Cup in over 150 appearances for the club.
He was also a mainstay in the Cranes team playing at both the 2017 and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments but to maintain his places requires him to have a club.
