Motorsport: Kyabazinga on the wheel as IUEA Jinja rally returns.

The Kyabazinga of Busoga kingdom His majesty Sir William Nadiope Gabula IV has confirmed his participation in the IUEA EMC Jinja rally organized by the Eastern Motor Club. The event will start with the scrutineering on Friday 6th and the main race will run from  Saturday 7th-Sunday 8th March 2020

We are delighted to announce that the Kyabazinga will take part in the IUEA Jinja rally 2020 as a guest driver.”

Kyabazinga is expected to take part in the special stage at Kakindu. The rally will cover a distance of 154 km in areas of Jinja, Magamaga and Mayuge. The longest distance will be at the Muttico section of about 30.40 km. The Ex-drive section will cover the shortest distance of about 12.74 km.

The Jinja rally returns to the National Rally Championship (NRC) calendar since its ban in 2018 due to an accident in the areas of Iganga district. This is the second event of the year.

Duncan Mubiru leads the standings of the National Rally Championships with 90 points after clinching victory at the Rukaari- Lake Mburo rally in Mbarara.
