Miya, Kaddu miss out on Mcknistry’s 20-man foreign based squad

Farouk Miya and Patrick Henry Kaddu  have missed out on a call to the Ugandan Cranes provisional 20-man foreign based squad summoned by Head Coach Johnny Mcknistry.

Farouk Miya has been out injured since January with a musular strain while Patrick Kaddu has struggled for game time since he joined  Ismaily SC from RS Berkane in January 2020.

The 20 foreign based players will be joined  by 5 local based players who are currently with the CHAN camp in preparation for the 2020 CHAN tournament in Cameroon.

Salim Jamal is summoned once again after missing out for last 2 AFCON games against Burkina Faso and Malawi.

Eric Bwomono (Southend FC), Jordan Onen (Brentford) and Karl Anthony Uchechukwu Mubiru Ikpeazu( Heart of Midlothian) are the suprise summoned faces by Johnny Mcknistry.

Ugandan will play South Sudan in a double header 2021 AFCON qualifier games with the first leg at Mandela National Staduim,Uganda on 28th March while the second leg will be at El-Hilal Staduim, Sudan on 31st March 2020
