Byekwaso appointed Uganda Cranes interim coach, names provisional squad

As part of a technical team of four appointed by FUFA to take on the National team on interim basis from 3rd to 31st October, 2023.

Sc Villa assistant coach Morley Byekwaso has been named as the Uganda Cranes Head Coach a with three others to help the cause on temporary basis.

The development was announced via a statement realised by FUFA earlier today on its official website

FUFA named a Technical Team of four people for an interim period of one month running from 3rd -31st October 2023.

The four people are:

Fred Muhumuza as assistant coach, Stephen Billy Kiggundu as the Goalkeeping Coach and Felix Ayobo as the Fitness Coach

These four will be in charge of Uganda Cranes next two games over the international break this month, against Mali on 13th October in Bamako and Zambia in Dubai, UAE on 17th October 2023.

A few hours after their appointment, Morley Byekwaso and his team’s first task was naming a squad for the two international games that Uganda Cranes will be involved in this month.
