After four years of roaming, former KCCA FC striker Muhammad Shaban has finally returned home after completing his move back to Onduparaka FC.

The striker was unveiled on Monday morning through the Caterpillar’s social media platforms with the caption “Muhammad #SHABANisBack!!!????”.

Shaban rejoins Onduparaka after being released by Vipers SC on mutual consent last month, during a period when the Venoms were carrying out a squad cleanout.

Last season, Shaban made 8 appearances for the Kitende based side, scoring one goal and assisting another.

He returns to the club that handed him his debut in the Uganda Premier League in 2015.

Shaban left the West Nile giants in September 2017 for thirteen-time champions KCCA FC from where he left to join Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca for a reported $130,000 before returning to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with Vipers SC. He sat out the entire 2019/20 season with injury before featuring in the 2020/21 season.

Muhammad Shaban becomes the 19th new addition for the Caterpillars after Jarieko James, Aluma Oscar Musa, Okello Ivan, Yakin Rashid, Nathan Oloro, Kitabalwa Robert, Rashid Agau, Okello Isaac, Aluma Muzaid, Tibo Balemangi Tressor, Taban Wijo, Michael Lutaaya, Dudu Ramathan and Nathaniel Atamba
