Methodius Jjungu completes move to FUFA Big League side


Attacking midfielder Methodius Jjungu has completed his move to Mbarara City, TheTouchline Sports can confirm.

Jjungu, who has been free agent after the expiration of his contract at Soltilo Bright Stars has put pen to paper on a three-year employment contract at the FUFA Big League side.

Jjungu joined Bright Stars in 2016 after having captained Vipers Junior team in the inaugural FUFA Junior league.

The 24-year old becomes one of Ankole lions latest additions this window after Gabriel Matata, Manja Mori Wycliffe and Opio Daniel.

Matata joined the club from Onduparaka, Manja from Catida FC while Opio was scooped from Soroti City FC.

Mbarara is targeting 17 new additions this window as they aim to gain promotion back to Uganda Premier League on their first attempt.
