The Futsal Association of Uganda is gearing up for the last club fixture of the season, as league and cup champions Mengo City take on Park FC in the 2025 Futsal Super Cup on Thursday, 5th June at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
Traditionally, the Super Cup pits the league champion against the Uganda Cup winner. However, with Mengo City securing both titles in a dominant season, runners-up Park FC step in to challenge for the trophy.
Park FC will be aiming at defending their Super Cup crown, having edged Kisenyi FC 7-5 in a dramatic final last year to cap off their own treble winning campaign.
On the other side, Mengo City is eyeing a treble of their own this season. But to do so, they must overcome a familiar nemesis, a Park FC side they’ve never beaten.
In four previous encounters, Park FC has claimed three wins, with the most recent meeting ending in a 3-3 stalemate back in January.
At full-time, Mengo City will be officially crowned champions of the Betpawa Futsal Super League but whether they lift the Super Cup too remains to be seen.
