Leipzig are yet to score a first Bundesliga victory this season. They followed two draws with a loss at 1. FC Union Berlin last weekend, so Christopher Nkunku, Timo Werner & Co. will be desperate to start putting things right at home to VfL Wolfsburg.

The Foals edged Hertha Berlin 1-0 last week to move on to seven points, and – with attackers like Jonas Hofmann, Alassane Plea and Marcus Thuram – the visitors have the quality to trouble the league leaders.
A meeting of two of Germany’s most successful clubs also seems to bring the best out of Gladbach. Last season they won two and drew one of their three matches against Bayern in all competitions, including a 2-1 victory in Munich in January and famous 5-0 DFB Cup thumping.

Another of Saturday’s intriguing ties sees impressive 1. FSV Mainz 05 host Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Mainz have seven points from nine thanks to their latest win at FC Augsburg, while Leverkusen – despite having Moussa Diaby and Patrik Schick to call on – have three defeats from three.
TSG Hoffenheim had an eye-catching 3-0 away triumph at Leverkusen in their last game, and Andrej Kramaric and his team will hope to make it three wins from four when they take on Augsburg.
SC Freiburg will look to do likewise when they kick off Matchday 4 at home to bottom club Bochum on Friday – the same day they and Union discover their UEFA Europa League group opponents.
There are also two matches on Sunday. Unbeaten 1. FC Köln have five points, three more than visitors VfB Stuttgart who lost 1-0 to Freiburg on Matchday 3.
Promoted Bremen followed two draws with that epic comeback against Dortmund, and they next face Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt in the final match of the round.
There are plenty of exciting fixtures in Bundesliga 2 as well. League leaders SC Paderborn 07 will be put to the test when they visit FC St. Pauli in Hamburg on Saturday afternoon before an evening clash between former Bundesliga champions as 1. FC Nürnberg host Hamburger SV.
