StarTimes Uganda Premier League defending champions Vipers SC has completed the signing of Uganda Cranes midfielder Marvin Joseph Youngman

This was made official on Wednesday morning after the 24-year old put pen to paper on a two-year deal till the end of the 2023/24 season.

He joins the Venoms from Soltilo Bright Stars, where he made over 50 appearance in two seasons.

Youngman becomes Vipers second addition in this window after Isa Mubiru was snapped up on Tuesday morning from UPDF.

“It’s just an amazing feeling to be here at one of the biggest clubs in the country. So, I’m just happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started,” Youngman told Vipers Media after putting pen to paper.

“Once you hear that Vipers SC are interested, there’s only one thought in your mind, which is to join them and try to be in and work hard for the team. Hopefully I can help the team achieve more big things.”

Youngman is a product of the Airtel Masaza Cup as he played for Bulemeezi and Busujju.

Before he joined Soltilo Bright Stars in 2020, Youngman was for Hima FC in the Kitara Regional League.
