￼Youngster Sadat Anaku and experienced Erisa Sekisambu scored 2 first-half goals to hand KCCA FC a deserved 2-0 win over Kyetume Fc on Tuesday evening in the SUPL encounter at the Mighty Arena, Jinja.
The first shot on goal came in the 8th minute as Mike Mutyaba effort went well wide. A minute later, KCCA FC broke the deadlock when Sadat Anaku scored from the tightest of angles in the 9th minute after beating his marker off a through-ball from Peter Magambo.
The goal scorer Sadat Anaku couldn’t finish the game after sustaining an injury in the 21st minute and was replaced by Nicolas Kasozi.
Joel Mutakubwa ,the Kyetume goalkeeper did his best to keep the Slaughters’ in the game as he saved a brilliant shot from Julius Poloto in the 33rd minute before producing a stellar save to stop a powerful shot from Gift Ali in the 42nd minute.
Erisa Sekisambu headed in a brilliant cross from Mustafa Kiiza to double KCCA’s lead in the 44th minute to ensure a 2-0 first half lead for the kasasiro boys.
Kyetume started the second half with a tripple substitution in the 49th minute of the game.Vincet Kayizi the skipper replaced Jonathan Mugabi , Rahmatah Kagimu replaced Steven Kagoda and James Ssemambo came in for Denis Lubowa.
Tahomera Benon was gifted the first chance on goal for the hosts , only for his freekick to go well wide in the 73rd minute.
Joel Mutakubwa produced a tripple save in the 89th minute to deny Julius Poloto , Nicolas Kasozi and Erisa Sekisambu for the match to end in a 2-0 win for KCCA FC.
Coming into Tuesday’s game, The Kasasiro Boys were 4 points adrift of log leaders Vipers SC and a win for KCCA FC meant they had reduced the gap to only two points after table leaders Vipers SC dropped two points against Mbarara City Fc after barren draw.
KCCA FC are now second on 41 points ,only two below leaders Vipers SC on 43 points, Kyetume remain in the 13th position on 19 points in 19 games
