They helped in providing basic training, balls and training kits to the young kids who had lost hope due to being forced to join army at a tender age.

I was inspired by the suffering of people of Gulu when i got to learn about it.”

Terra Renaissance founder Shingo said

Sports especially football is so good at promoting relations and morals which can be a key tool in rehabilitating the former child soldiers

He added

Terra Renaissance was established in Northern Uganda in 2006 when a number of service providing organizations!(both local and international) left the region citing cessation of hostilities between the LRA and the Government of Uganda to be the reason for ending service provision.

Terra Renaissance was erected to provide essential services focusing on young people’s education, health, wealth and entrepreneurship skills to address over dependency whilst encouraging self-reliance.
