Goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa has completed his move to StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions Express FC.
He joins Express as a free agent after having run down his contract at Kyetume FC at the end of last season, where he spent most of his time away from the club due to a number of reasons.
Mutakubwa has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract and replaces Mathias Muwanga who recently departed the club.
At Express, He will reunite with coach Wasswa Bbosa, having worked with the former Villa tactician at Tooro United.
The Cranes international becomes the Club’s first new addition in the current transfer window.
The 26-year old started his professional career at Busoga United before crossing over to Soana FC (Tooro United). In 2019, Mutakubwa joined Mukono based side Kyetume FC.
