Jamil Kalisa: Midfielder signs for Vipers, reunites with Kajoba

Midfielder Jamil Kalisa has officially joined  Vipers SC from Bright Stars FC on a four-year employment contract.

He becomes the Venoms’ third signing in the ongoing transfer window after Disan Galiwango and Ibrahim Orit put pen to paper to 3 and 4-year deals respectively.

Kalisa who had a year left on his Bright Stars contract was officially unveiled by the Venoms via as per the club website on Tuesday.

He joined Bright stars in 2018 from Kampala Regional league side Lungujja Galaxy and was instrumental in Bright Stars relegation fight last season.

Kaliisa rejoins his former head coach at Bright Stars Fred Kajoba at Vipers, the man who handed him his UPL debut in 2018.

Kalisa is expected to compete with Karim Watambala, Bobos Byaruhanga, Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye, Siraje Sentamu,Rahmat Ssenfuka and Brian Nkuubi for a starting spot for the Kitende based side.
