Defender Jakisa Jerry has reportedly terminated his contract with Onduparaka FC just a few weeks after joining the Caterpillars on a two-year deal.
The revelation has been confirmed by the player’s agent Fred Lewandowski after the Arua-based side allegedly failed to clear Jakisa’s sign-on fees within the specified time.
“Jakisa Jerry has terminated his contract with Onduparaka Football Club,” the agent confirmed to Dribbler sports.
“This was after he demanded the club to pay him his sign-on fee which was meant to be cleared in two weeks time from the time of the signing,” he added.
It should be noted that Jakisa’s former club, Nebbi Central cried foul after the player was unveiled by Onduparaka FC without the Regional club’s knowledge and demanded an apology from Arua based side for “doing business in an unprofessional manner”.
