Ibrahim Kirya alias “Uchumi” returns as new head coach at the Uganda Premier League side Sports Club.
Kirya who worked with Sports Club Villa at the advent of the 2021/22 season has been unemployed since parting ways with Tooro United Football Club in the second part of the same season.
Kirya makes his third debut in the Uganda Premier League when SC Villa host rejuvenated Jinja side Gaddafi FC on Sunday, 2nd October 2022 at 4PM.
Kirya has previously coached at this very Sports Club Villa (under different tenures), Tooro United FC, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Lweza, Entebbe, Wakiso Giants and Gomba Ssaza team.
He was the head coach as Gomba lifted their 5th crown in the 2020 Buganda Masaza Cup championship.
