After collecting victory on enemy territory, Vipers are going to host Olympic Real De Bangui in the second leg of the CAF Champions League second Preliminary round on Saturday.

Vipers head into the second leg with a 3-0 aggregate after strikes from new signings Abdu Lumala, Isa Mubiru and Najib Yiga at the Stade Alphonse Massamba in Congo Brazzaville.

Therefore this was enough to help the Venoms put one foot to the second Preliminary round, before heading to the group stages.

The Vipers head coach Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho on Thursday morning affirmed that he has got a lot of trust in his players.

Our objective now will be the second round but it won’t be easy, in football it is not exactly a science in football everything is possible.

My objective is serious preparation, I trust my players, we have worked together for a minimum of one year and about all this am a positive man.

It is not easy to build a strong team, we have experience in the National team, for the next game on Saturday, we need to play well and win but it’s not easy because they[ Olympic Real De Bangui] have nice and experienced players I know this team.

An injury free and at home Vipers will have the advantage and hope to grind a greater aggregate than what they hold.

The two teams will play the final leg on Saturday at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende and the winner will meet TP Mazembe in the First Round.
